18.04.2011 /// The finalists in the architecture competition for the expansion and redevelopment of the Saul-Bellow Library have been announced.
The jury, chaired by Daniel Pearl, has selected the following seven candidates amongst the proposals received :

- Les architectes Faucher Aubertin Brodeur Gauthier
- Atelier In Situ
- Consortium Brière Gilbert Blouin Tardif + Associés architectes
- Manon Asselin + Jodoin Lamarre Pratte, architectes en consortium
- Dan Hanganu, Architectes
- Labonté Marcil / Cimaise-FBA / Éric Pelletier, architectes en consortium
The jury comprised:

- Julie-Anne Cardella, Borough citizen's representative, director, Westmount Public Library
- Anne Carrier, architect
- Maxime-Alexis Frappier, architect
- Daniel Pearl, architect, professor, Université de Montréal

- Patrice Poulin, architect, LEED AP, property manager, Direction des stratégies et des transactions immobilières, Ville de Montréal
